Township First Steps - Melvor Idle - 雙語字幕

What's up out there welcome back to more Melver Idol and today is patch day today we get
The astrology rework we get modding and we get
Township so I spent a chunk of today looking at township and seeing how it works
And I wanted to run through this and get a video out.
Hopefully this is helpful to somebody.
This is a very different and kind of interesting skill the way it works.
It does not work the way the other skills work.
not screw around and we'll dive into this one.
First and foremost, you can see that I am up at level 47 and I do have a town of some sort built.
So this is what I have right now.
Obviously, I can get this far and I don't know all the ins and outs of everything.
I'm just going to play that one out up front.
I can get you to this and I can show you what I did to get here and make some sense out of some of this but
Some of the rest of this is like the finer points of it and the endgame stuff of it.
Obviously, I'm not even there so this is kind of gonna be what it is So, I don't really know how to start with this.
The first thing that I would do if you're new to the game,
there's these little buttons up here you can actually click on and it explains certain things about this whole thing.
So, I want to a of little bit And just kind of explain some of this.
I know it's explained here,
but there's like I saw some comments Here and there that people said they just didn't get enough information about it
So I'm gonna run through this just so that you actually see this and then we'll go through and do the
So the ticks are a time measurement used to progress in township and each tick shows up here
It's as I have 32 to spend and this town has existed for 12 hours and 50 minutes.
So pretty much every time you click one of these tick buttons It advances the town forward you only get these ticks every five
minutes Well, you're online or offline.
So I've been offline for a while.
I 32 Since the last time I use this,
so that's 32 times 5 minutes ago Okay,
so if we come back up in here you gain one tick to spend every five minutes online or offline your you earn township skill XP every tick and
You can use these ticks together
to progress through town blah blah blah and Before I forget I need to equip this we'll get into the hat later.
It's a cool hat Go back up into here
So there's population you get people who are the citizens death you get life and death whatever there's workers there's storage
Happiness how happy they are and the happier they are the better XP education can help with happiness, health helps with happiness.
Worship helps with happiness, of course, you know, all this stuff does.
Town shows a breakdown in your current town buildings and all that then there's the building that you can do
There's a breakdown of the ages that you get.
I have not gotten the trader yet The tasks there are tasks,
which we're going to run through the task And then you can eat your resources.
So I love the name of that.
So pretty much once your Storage here gets full you go over to this yeet thing and you can just bounce
Whatever it is you don't want out.
So you've got too much food or you've got too much of this crap down here You can just bounce it on out and get rid of it
so This is where I am now and I've gotten up to level 47.
I've built some houses it took a little while to figure this out and
The first and foremost thing that you probably should know is under township settings, there's a button that says restart my town.
It says you keep offline ticks to spend and all skill XP.
The land you purchase is also free if you reset.
So...
You can reset this as much as you want.
As soon as you hit this, it logs you out and you have to log back in again.
I know why it does that.
I don't know what this delete Township building is for.
Like what specific use case this would be for.
I'm not sure.
or like it doesn't reset.
I've been doing the restart my town
because I just wiped the whole thing over and start over and it's really helped out to keep doing that.
And do retain your skills.
So that's why I've gotten up to level 47.
I've reset this probably five, six, seven times today.
It's been quite a few.
So.
Restart your town as often as you need to if you get stuck like you'll get you'll run out of resources
And you just you'll run out of ticks you'll run out of something and you won't be able to progress
You can actually reset it and just keep going and learn Okay,
so what we're going to do is we're going to click this restart town button And i'll be right back and we're back like I said this thing actually logs you out and you log back
in and so there's You know progress made.
Okay, so if I go to township now, it says that I have no Town I don't have any town
First thing you can do is come up here to next map.
It's gonna yell at you and say hey you need to go through the tutorial.
Okay, what?
whatever.
I do want to switch between different maps.
What notice is that these numbers change.
These numbers are how many plots of land you have.
So the different maps you get is how many grassland, forest, or desert, or whatever, how many different plots of land you can get.
So if you cycle through these, you'll see that the spread is different.
So if you want more of a swamp.
However, however you want your things set up, you can actually go through here and it reallocates these.
I'm guessing these are the, you know, there's probably a thousand or two thousand, whatever the total is.
And it's just a breakdown of that, how it's dispersed.
So I'm going to go back to the start.
Actually, there was one of the zeros on there, wasn't there?
Snow land zero.
I'm sure there's some benefit to whether you take do or don't take some of these.
I don't know again.
This is more higher-end content.
We'll worry about that later And like I said,
you can reset this at any point in time So even if you get further down the road and you I don't want to try something different
It looks like you can play with township over and over and over again and not lose progress or anything
You just get a different experience each time so You can also pick a different god,
and I've kind of just stuck with Eris I went with none on the first one,
but then I thought you know I'm gonna get a little bit of I won't get as much gold
But I'll get a little bit of these bonuses and then I don't know what these worships are or how to get them
I haven't got that far yet but once you get different warships,
25% 50, 85, 100, you get more bonuses, but you take some different negatives depending on which god you take.
So I figured I would take at least somebody, I picked Eris, took one, and the next thing you're gonna do is click Confirm Town.
Now, if you just started today, I recommend at least getting to this point.
Just in here,
you don't have to pick a god or anything,
just hit confirm town because every five minutes you're going to generate a tick and every tick advances your town.
So if you don't have a town created, even if it's just sitting there idling with level 1.
You're not gaining anything by letting it sit so if you if you create the town and let it sit like that
Let me rephrase that if you don't create the town and just let it sit
You're not generating anything if you do create the town and let it sit you're generating ticks which can um, go to the XP.
I this with my hardcore account and it's just sitting there off in the background.
So it's collecting up these ticks to spend and you get these every five minutes.
Um, and that is kind of that.
So now begins the fun part and this is going to take a lot of explanation.
I don't know that I'm quite capable of giving all this explanation.
So if I bounce around a lot or whatever, I apologize, but.
I'm gonna dive into this the best way that I know how so we're gonna go top to bottom first and foremost and that tells you what your
Population is how many workers you have how much storage you have their happiness education health and worship
So that's all the stuff that you have on hand,
not on hand, but this is all the things that go into your population and happiness and all that kind of thing.
The next line is all the money and resources and stuff that you have, actually the next couple, building buildings costs these resources.
So the first things you're going to need is some, well, this is how much gold you generate to pay your money.
and then this is how much food they need,
this is logs,
this is lumber,
planks or whatever,
then there's like stone and bars and ore and coal and ruin essence,
herbs, potions, leather and clothing and you're going to need to know these little symbols because they're going to become important real soon.
down here is in the middle section is the tick section if you click on one
of these buttons it's going to use that many ticks so I only have 144 so if
I used if I click that button it's gonna advance my town 12 hours and use all my
ticks up and then I'm gonna have to restart because I just blew all my
ticks
So I would not recommend spending those until you need to actually advance the town forward and you'll see in a second here when we get to that below that and there's the messages or whatever
and of course this gives you a message talking about go to the task and all that but we'll get there.
There's these different tabs down here, below all that other stuff.
So the town tab shows you the areas.
If you go to build, you get the same areas in town, you're going to get these areas.
You view all this shows you all the different houses, all the different buildings that you have built.
or you can look into each specific area.
In the grasslands, I have one building out of this build and it's a basic shelter.
Now when I said earlier, you got to pay attention to these icons.
The little logs down here,
they're really small and hard to kind of see and you can't mouse over this to hover it and see what it says or what it
So these little stone things were a little confusing at first,
but this is logs in stone I need 120 logs and 50 stones
So I have 2,000 logs or wood and then I have
2,000 stones so I can build some stuff now the first thing you're probably gonna do is go click on the build button and just create a
bunch of stuff and get stuck That's fine reset your character or reset your Town and then come back and do this again.
You'll want to do this a few times and don't be afraid to reset it because it doesn't harm anything.
It just resets your town and you start over with the town, you keep the XP.
The important thing you're trying to gain is just knowledge of how this works.
So, on the town tab, this is what you're We will come back here because this green arrow is important.
You actually delete stuff from here and this green arrow is for upgrading stuff.
So this basic shelter with enough materials can be upgraded to a wooden hut for 120 wood and 50 stone.
Okay, then you come over to the build tab.
In the build tab, you can actually select each area and build the different buildings in each area.
They have their associated costs at the bottom.
And then up here, it tells you what it's gonna provide.
So the storehouse is gonna provide 10,000 storage.
The blacksmith is going to use, or it's gonna use 18.75 per tick.
It's also going to use stone at 7.5 per tick, and going to create 7.5 bars per tick.
So it's telling you what it's going to use and what it's going to cost,
and then the little people symbol means how many workers it's going to,
I don't know that it's how many workers it needs, but how many workers can use that station, so you can have up to five.
All right, let me get this out of the way so it doesn't blink on me and drive me bananas.
Okay, so you can select the different areas.
There's this sort building if you want to see different stuff.
If you're looking for something, I don't know these well enough to know which one's getting there.
Then on number two down here it's just select a building to build and then it's got these different numbers.
So you can build one five or ten and it scales up based on how much you know if you're building ten it's going to take 400.
If build one it's going to take 40.
So it scales up.
Now this by land if you look at here it's this grassland zero one of 231.
I can't remember what the zero is I think that's I don't know whatever not sure we'll get to that one.
I hope, I still haven't ironed all this out yet.
But 1 of 231 means that you own one plot of land and you have 231 you could buy.
If you looked at my video this morning you'd notice that I had 4 billion gold and you
noticed now that I only have 414 million, that is because I went stupid crazy and started buying a bunch of this.
stuff.
Not realizing it was coming out of my gold.
I thought it was coming out of the gold pile here and I was scrolled down so I didn't see my gold pile disappearing.
Yeah, so in some of the notes in here it tells you that you can go in here and buy land.
If you reset your account, I'm sorry, if you reset your town, You don't have to buy the land over again.
You've already bought it.
It's a zero dollar purchase.
So I come in here and hit buy land, I can buy all 231 until I'm at the max because I've done it.
Now if I go to the snowlands and do this same thing, it's gonna pop up and tell me I don't have the money.
I still have my 414.
one of these I know I don't know one of these I thought I still had some to buy
in maybe if I go to one nope hmm oh well so anyway I burned four billion
dollars don't do that only buy the amount of land you need but the land
you buy you get when you reset your two
swear to god I had this in here was it this one the jungle and burn all my money
at some point it's gonna get ugly well whatever so apparently I have all these spots okay so I've already bought all my land,
so there's nothing more that I have to buy.
I've already sunk that money into it.
I wonder how that happened.
It might be a bug.
Oh, there it is.
Desert.
Oh, you know why?
Because I go right to left.
I if it has only so many plots of land that you can buy.
Oh, yep, just spent a bunch more money.
All right, live and learn.
So apparently, there's this set number of plots that you can buy.
And once you've bought those plots, like I got stuck here, and now I need 500 million to buy the next 25.
So, learn that one the hard way, don't necessarily go in here and run through there and buy all that.
Yeah.
Alright.
Anyway, lessons were learned, mistakes were made.
So that's buying
And the reason you're gonna buy land is because you're gonna put these buildings on that land
So if I can do 231 buildings on this grassland basically is what it's saying Okay,
so now you've got the buildings that can go on each section down here If you click on a different thing you might get some different buildings like you can do wood cutting in the forest
The desert has no wood so you're not gonna cut wood there But once you get into this one like the desert,
what is it, the desert and the snowlands?
Yeah, the has a negative too.
So in the desert, each building costs 60 clothing per tick.
So you're gonna have to be ahead of that before you put this miner's pit in.
And that's kind of the bad thing about this whole thing.
So you have to be ahead of some negative on the desert and the snow lands.
This one is 30 coal per tick.
But the rest of them don't have that negative.
The rest of them have different buildings though.
Like you can do a carbonate workshop woodcutter camp.
You cannot do those things on the grasslands.
Now you can click the show locked and this will show you all the other buildings you can put on this particular piece of land.
and what the requirements are.
So you need level 15 for some of these level 35 whatever level 80 for that but the big thing is that you need population 200
500 4000 so I can get up to over 200 people.
I cannot get to 500 yet.
So that's going to be a little more advanced than where I am now,
but over the course of the day that I've kind of gotten to this point and that's where we are.
So that is the build tab.
The citizen tab comes over here and shows you the different people's ages.
They're the, how many are over 55 that require potion.
over 75, over 70 that can't work, and then they die.
I don't know what happens when they die.
I'm assuming we have to deal with it in some fashion.
And then there's age breakdown.
Don't really know what this is for just yet.
I know some of them will be in school and stuff like that and some will be in Again,
we're gonna learn all this as we go.
I'm gonna skip tasks for now the trader.
I have not unlocked yet So I've not done that
yeet resources we looked at earlier this is where you can just say I need to get rid of something and
This lets you get rid of chunks of stuff in storage so you can free it up and put other stuff in storage
And then we looked at township settings earlier as well so tasks.
This is where you should start.
Don't just go into the build button and start creating things.
That's not the way to do this.
And you'll notice that I have a bunch of tasks already completed.
We'll get into those here in just a second.
The one you want to really start with is the Township Starter Guide.
So if you click on that,
it has a whole host of things to do and we're gonna walk maybe all of them I don't know how fast I can get through this I don't want
this to be a two-hour video so if you do the tutorial it's gonna go in here and
tell you to do certain things once you've done three tasks I think it's three
tasks you can then get into the easy normal hard very hard and at least
these tasks in the Township Starter Guide give you XP and they give you good
XP thousand thousand basically a thousand by the time you add some of these up and
there's what 14 of them I'm going to tie some things together here before we start on the tutorial part.
So bear with me, you have to complete 114 tasks or you have to complete so many of these tasks to do certain things.
All of these tasks total out to 114.
So there's like 20, 40, 60, 80, 114.
There's 20 of each of these and then 14 of the township starter ones.
Okay, cool.
Now, once you've completed three of the township starter tasks, you can then go into these other tabs.
These other tabs do not give you any XP for township that I
but if I click on easy now I've already completed 19 of these so I don't have the one any of the
other ones to show you but you basically need to give the town and you can only do this once doesn't
matter if you reset this town or not once these are done they're done they're over with um
You need so in this case I need to do 25 birds nest potions 25 controlled heats and 25 generous cooks and you'll notice that I'm working on
Well, what these things swordfish?
I'm working on swordfish because I need to work on generous cook potions
and Use the generous or use the herbal or potion to get here one potion so I can sell to this
That's why I'm working on cooking right now not because I want to cook and have the
swordfish It's because I need these generous cook potions to use this So there's the different ones.
There's easy.
There's the normal and these could be like this one here's putting stardust in I've cleared off all the other ones
So I can't show you that and I don't think there's a way of looking at the past ones
But some of these other ones are going to show you give you an idea of what they are some of them are creating stuff like Adam and gear
Maybe a sword a shield or whatever So if I go over to the hard ones,
this is why I have to do a hunter dragon two-handed dragon swords battle axes daggers seminars
Swords go farm up a bunch of dragon hide some of these were beating certain bosses and they were all just ready to claim
I had already beaten this was a completion account.
I already got there So I claimed everything that I could up to a point.
I need to defeat Eris.
You know another 257 more time
And another 100 glaciers and then I'll get these and they give you act they actually give you air chests and scrolls of
air So you get good rewards out of this So if you turn in 10 in frontal cores,
they're gonna give you 15 back plus 500 grand.
So these are pretty lucrative Some of these can suck Now also pay attention to the color.
I was having a hard time figuring out which tab I on because it doesn't like actually show a little line down here of which tab or doesn't highlight
But the color so this bar here where it says task is the same color is easy.
There's normal There's hard.
There's very hard and there's elite So if you go by this banner color you can tell if we go over here to very
hard I need to beat Ragnar a few more times down here.
I need to have enough infernal Capes and then turn in the infernal claw,
but they give you four infernal claws and five million gold So it's pretty good.
I got to get some stardust.
I've already beat the Pegasus and Griffin Obviously a lot of these have
some good requirements to them beating so many rancors and elder vampires and cursed
maidens and stuff so there's a lot of gathering to go do the title edge fragments in the ocean
songs you just need to give them one of each so go fight those until you get one and turn
it in and then they give you three of each plus five million gold so it's pretty
good deal
Now this one 5000 antique vases that's gonna be expensive this one here's gonna
be rough 20 ancient rings of skills 20 ancient rings of mastery and 20 rings
of wealth or 500 rings of wealth so that's a lot of grinding for just A lot of basic bags, this one's kind of cool.
You turn in one Fury of the Elemental Zodiac,
40 of these animals at torture,
which is pain to get,
and 40 of these animals at Fury,
and they give you 10 million gold,
one million Slayer coin, and four Fury of the Elemental Zodiac, so that's a really good trade right there.
But then there's some other ones.
You get some Dead Eyes, Warlocks, Guardian Rings, Fighter all that for this essence.
Again, not that hard to get.
get the signet ring, you got to get two signet rings to get this, that's going to be a pain.
So there's all these different ones.
Now why would you want to go and do all of these tasks?
Okay, now you go up into the shop and then you go to the township tab and now it tells
you look in here, it says you need to have...
level 10 township and 34 township task to be completed.
So that's why you're gonna complete township task.
Not only do you have to level it up and have the money to buy this but you have to complete enough township task to be
able to purchase these Okay, this one is 94.
If you scroll all the way down to the bottom, this one needs 109, and let's see here.
Maybe that's the So, you actually do have to do a lot of those tasks.
You may not have to do 114, but you definitely have to complete a lot of those tasks to get there.
And the part where population is going to be important is like these mouse cats and stuff.
You need 500 population or 1000 or 4000 or whatever it to build some of these.
I was able to buy the pirate captain hat.
I get two of the prat hats going and that gets me 2% township skill XP.
I bought that and then.
Can't and then went and did some other stuff and now I'm doing the video.
So here we are Okay,
now I'm gonna put a timestamp in because you probably gonna want to skip a lot of this and this video is gonna be getting pretty long Okay
Now that is why you do all the things that you do.
You need to complete tasks,
you to level up township,
you to have to have the level to go buy items,
and some of the items that you get, I guess I can show that real quickly here.
They give you these suits,
the woodcutters hat, body, and leggings, and then there's another piece that I don't have yet, because haven't hit that level yet.
but you basically go and buy all these different pieces and their gear sets for leveling this other stuff.
So.
I'm trying to get all this purchase before the expansion or get a chunk of it purchased before the
expansion So that's why I'm cranking pretty hard on
it because then I can just equip this level up a little quicker and
In some fashion so I don't know it all works towards it and I'm trying to understand township
so that's why you're buying all this crap and Like I said right here.
I'm gonna get some XP towards this now There was one where I had to turn in one inch and ring a skills and one ancient ring of mastery
I've already lost those and that was why I was doing some fishing also is to try to get those back
so I'm running the ring of wealth instead of the The ring of experience or whatever For township, I just don't have it anymore.
Okay, all of that out of the way now we're gonna do the tutorial So, if you go to task, click on Township Starter Guide, it's going to tell you 14 different
tasks that you have to do.
We're going to build buildings.
So, I'm going to bust through this really quickly, buckle up, back a lunch, let's jump in.
Alright, so what this is saying is that I I need three basic shelters and one farmland.
I already have one, so I need two more basic shelters and a farmland and they will give me 40 XP and 300 food.
Easy enough, so I need two basic shelters and a farmland.
So go over here to build.
I've been sticking with grassland.
Build two basic shelters.
Build a farmland.
and you can see where it's taking off of the stone and the wood.
Like said don't just randomly build stuff because you're gonna run out of materials and you're
gonna have to restart because you just won't be able to get materials.
It took me a while to figure out where to build the one to get the stone and that took that was Okay,
once you've completed the task, this little green button will pop up.
Click on this, go in here, click claim rewards.
Easiest pie.
So, I advanced my XP a little bit, I got some food, and now I have to go through here.
I need one more basic shelter and a woodcutter camp.
So go to build,
build a basic shelter, click over to forest now for the woodcutter camp, you'll notice that I've gone down 300 logs and 226 stone.
So, and now I have a completed task.
Come over here, click on this, click on this.
Click on this.
So I get some wood, some food, and some XP.
Okay, we're gonna keep going on here.
I need three shelters in one farmland.
Come back over here.
Go to Grassland, build three, build one, task done.
That's it.
Done.
Okay, now we need five shelters to one farmland and one miner's pit.
So we'll do one, two, three, four, five, one farmland and the miner's pit.
You're going to scroll through here and you're to say, oh, there's the miners pit right there and you're going to find out.
You can't build this because you have to have that 60 clothing in here.
They want you to go over to the mountains and in fact,
I think it actually tells you in here my minor pits provide more basic blah, blah, blah build a mining pit in the mountains home.
So they tell you where to put it.
Basically, so you come over here to build, you go to mountains and miners pit.
And again, if you build stuff and don't have this thing and run out, you're screwed.
So don't jump ahead unless you kind of know what you're doing.
So come back to the task thing, claim the reward, move to the next one.
All right,
we need three shelters in a storehouse, so we're going to build one, two, three, and actually I built these in the mountain area.
It matter.
I'm gonna come back over here, build my storehouse.
I believe this is geared towards showing you how to do things and kind of guiding you along.
eventually we're going to need to buy or need to run the ticks.
Notice I haven't spent any of my ticks yet.
Let me address the that before I get bugged by it.
Now the next thing is I need three more basic shelters, a farmland and a blacksmith smithy.
Over here three more basic shelters.
What did I say?
I forgetting everything on here.
I'm purposely not claiming that one.
I need a farmland and a smithy.
Okay, so I need a farmland and I'm out of logs.
So now comes the time when you want to click this button.
You want to click this tick button.
I need some resources.
Actually, I could probably come over here to test.
and claim this reward and then come back here to build and no I still
need these what do I need those I have 400 of them hmm it's weird I'll play Why can't I build that?
Okay, I'm not going to overanalyze this one.
So when this is red, when one of the items down here is red, it means you need something.
So if you click the tick button, it advances everything up top here.
that can advance.
I don't have anything that's going to build planks.
I have workers for it so I'm not going to get it.
I do have things that will create wood.
I have some workers that are in there working on food and now I have some wood so I can click on this, build it.
Now I've got this to go and close.
Okay, now we're going to get into needing two more miners pits.
I'm to back to this wooden hut here in a second.
I two more miners pits going back to build, go back to the mountains.
I need to build two more miners pits.
Now, I need these people to prioritize wood.
I want this done quickly.
I don't want to wait for them to eat and all that other stuff.
Whatever you click on, whatever is highlighted is going to be.
So now when I click on this, I'm going to get a decent chunk, they're going to move some workers over to that.
And now I'm going to wait until I get three, actually 600 because they need to make two of these.
So I'm going to watch this thing up top here.
There's 570.
There's enough.
Click back over to here.
That prioritizes food so they don't start.
Blah blah blah.
Now I need to create two of these, come back over to tasks and look back at this thing.
Now we're up at the wooden hut.
This one took me a lot of and then click on the grasslands area it's going to show you the basic shelter and then below this
it says upgrade wood and hut I need if I go to the task I think it's five I need five of
these um so go back to town I'm going to click five of these I need 600 wood so we're going to I'm going to
Go on this for just a second just to get the food built up a little
bit So it's positive and a couple of clicks of this and I'm up there now.
I noticed my tick rates or ticks have gone down Accordingly, so now I'm going to click this button here.
It's going to create five shelters.
I Did not complete my task yet
Because it uses some of those basic shelters to create
the upgrade or to upgrade to so now I need to go back to build I'm gonna click
on grasslands I'm gonna do two of these now my task is done I can claim my
reward so I'm gonna need 10 of these wooden hunts for farmland and two
more storehouses so for farmland and two storehouses one go I need wood so I have workers in here doing stuff,
so run this a few times, one, two, three, four, come back to task because I'm brain dead and can't remember anything.
I need two more storehouses, so I need stone, so in this case I need stone, so I'm going to over here.
and run this up until I can create I need 600 and work two of those and
Come back down here So this lights up grain telling me that I'm done.
I've done that portion of it I just need 10 more wooden huts.
So come back over here.
We're gonna do 10.
I don't oh, I'm sorry Grasslands not 10 of these.
I guess that changed it for all of them.
Okay, so I need 10 of these.
So I need 500 stone and probably going to need to build some houses.
So let's see, I need 500 stone.
We're going to advance is I have only been advancing this by one when I'm doing this because I'm trying to get
enough material and not too much material.
I don't want to click it all and burn all off and then run out of ticks.
So I'm trying to play conservatively and not burn up everything.
So now we upgrade these and task completed done.
Take my reward.
There's my skill.
Now I need two more wooden huts and this other stuff, so we're going to do two more of these huts.
Let's see, we'll do one.
I can upgrade one.
Let's say I need more stone, upgrade.
Oops.
Okay, so now that I've upgraded everything in that area, there's no more of those basic houses.
I have to go back in here and build a basic house,
and then I can come back to town and then the basic shelter is ready to upgrade.
The wood and huts upgrade to houses, houses upgrade to something else, on and on.
Go back to TAS, starter guide, I need two farms, one wood cutter camp, my carpenter's workshop.
Go back to build, build two, oops, I need some.
So we're going to prioritize some stone here, build two of those, go over to the forest, I need the woodcutter camp.
So we're still prioritizing stone, and I think it's the workshop here.
So we're going to build that task done, and claim rewards.
So we're chugging through these fairly quickly.
Now is where we're going to start needing the next stuff.
We're to need the hunters cabin, the cabin and the school.
So what I do is I basically go do the easy stuff first.
I need some, I need five farmland.
Go back to build, go back to grassland.
We're going to need some stone.
And keep in mind, you know, make sure you're not filling your storage up.
Make sure none of these are going in the red and losing stuff.
Okay.
So, and I totally forgot what I needed here.
Um, five farmlands, go back to builds, like five, I have enough, bam, that's done.
So this portion of that is complete.
Now I need to upgrade however many of these wood huts there are.
Oh, it would be nice if there was a quick button down at the where you could just do that from wherever you're at.
Okay, so I need eight.
My math is terrible.
So I'm going to in here and build.
We're going to do ten of the basic shelters.
Go back to town.
We're going to take this.
We'll upgrade ten hella.
We're going to run this up here until we have enough, but I don't have enough wood.
I'm going to wood and then click this one more time, two more times, and then I can upgrade those.
That's now done.
Go back to TAS.
Hunter's Cabin, Gather's Cabin, and School.
Back to Build.
The forest has the Hunter's Cabin.
Need more wood.
Click that once, let that go.
I need to build a school somewhere.
It matter where you build it.
I need resources.
Both of these are reds.
We're come back here and tick this up until I can do that.
The Gather one is actually over here in the Valley.
Right here, need more resources.
Run these ticks until I can get it.
Create it.
Go back.
and claim my rewards.
Now you'll notice that a lot of these are the same because they build as you go.
So as you complete these you're adding stuff to the next ones and some of these you can actually build in advance.
Like I can look at this and say okay I'm going to need eight storehouses so I can come over here to build and go to grasslands.
I have three storehouses.
I'm going to build 10 of them.
So I need this, but now let's do five.
We'll do five, a more conservative.
We're going to prioritize wood for the first.
I need two thousand.
And then I need 1,500 stones.
We're going to prioritize that, get the stone built up.
There's those.
So if I look at my tasks and scroll down, these storehouses are done on all these.
So now I need, let's see here, I need a hunter's cabin.
and 10 farmland.
So we'll do 10 farmland and hunters cabin.
I the hunters cabin is over here.
So we're going to do this and I said 10 farm I think.
So we'll do 10 of those and we're going to prioritize stone.
We'll pretty Build that up.
There's 10 of those go back to task starter guide Okay burning through this quickly Now I need to do wood knots.
I need 45 of these things.
So Let's see we'll go to build.
I'm gonna do 10 basic shelters Yeah twice We'll do 10 of these,
I need stone, so we're prioritizing stone, run the ticks a few times.
I still have 70-some ticks,
so we're gonna get enough to do this,
upgrade it,
now I still need more,
so I'm gonna run the ticks until I get enough,
upgrade it, now I have some tasks completed, now I actually have to ticks, of several tasks ready to go.
If I build a tavern in a cemetery, I have two tasks.
So if I go over here, there's no tavern.
I don't have, oh, I'm sorry, I'll get to that in a second.
I'm gonna go take this one and get my reward.
It's telling me I need a tavern and a cemetery.
This is something that took me a minute to figure out too.
If you click on build and you show locked, you're gonna find a cemetery and you're going to find a tavern right here.
The thing that I'm missing is a population of 200 people.
I have 143.
So basically what you want to do at this point is just click the tick button.
It doesn't really matter what you're prioritizing at this point.
I'm going to do stone because I'm low on it.
You'll notice I'm starting to make planks either receive some or I have something that will create them.
So I'm going to go ahead and click on this.
There's 147, 151, 155.
I'm going to just run this up until I get.
200 people.
Now that I'm at 200 people, I can come down here and build the tavern and the cemetery.
So that completes that task.
That one is done.
Now I need to build a tailor.
I'll go back to build.
There should be a tailor somewhere in here.
Build that one.
Tap.
Go back here, claim that reward.
Now I need to build a Prat hat.
Come back here to build, Prat hat, I have enough to build it, boom, done.
And that is the tutorial completed.
You've now completed 14 tasks.
And the stuff that I've completed, I've already completed 84.
So I only need 10 more of these to go.
and I will be able to buy 94.
Once I hit level 60 and have 94 tasks completed I'll have this done.
So then I can buy the rest of this gear.
Well up to a certain point I won't be able to buy some of these yet.
I need the mouse cats or whatever.
That's what I figured out about Township.
I at level 48.
What I've been doing at this point, I couldn't get it up to 500 population to build whatever I needed to build.
So what I've typically done at this point,
and you don't have to do this, this is just what I've been doing, is I'll run this 12 until it hits zero.
It's a 49.
Basically, you're going to get some XP for it.
And then I will go and reset my town and then do that whole process over again.
What you just saw, I will do again.
Like I said, I've done this half a dozen times a day.
It took a few times to figure out how it all worked and how to make everything go,
but this is what I've figured out so far.
From this point forward, you're on your own.
At this point, we'll come back, probably come back with a video later, but I'm already had 40 minute video on this.
So I'm gonna put some timestamps in this thing and release this.
So I hope you enjoy this.
I hope it's been helpful.
And I hope you enjoy this started on township.
Anyway, that will do it for this one.
We'll catch you on the next one.
Take care.
